Representatives of the Bashkir State Medical University received the title “Heritage of the Capital”

On 8 June 2018 Ufa hold the ceremony of awarding XII Public City Award “Heritage of the Capital”. In 2006 the Public Foundation for the development of the city established the annual competition to support the Ufa citizens who with the help of their good deeds, unusual initiatives, interesting projects contribute to the further development and prosperity of their native city.

The main nomination award "Public recognition for service to the city" was received by the head of the Oncology department APEI of BSMU, Director of the Oncology Research Institute at BSMU, Shamil Gantsev.

Alina Gizatullina, the head of the Volunteer center of BSMU, was awarded in the category “Ufa is a city of citizens with active civil position”. BSMU team of volunteers came to support their leader during the significant ceremony for both Alina Vladimirovna and BSMU Volunteer center.
