Practice of BSMU students at the West China hospital of Sichuan University, Chengdu

From 3 till 24 August 2018, BSMU students Garifullin Ruslan (4th year) and Garifullin Airat (2nd year) had an internship at the West China hospital of Sichuan University, Chengdu. It is one of the most prestigious and largest clinics in China, ranked first among the best clinics in China (according to Nature Publishing Group) and 52nd in the world. Students had practice in the Plastic, Vascular and Gastrointestinal Surgery department. Together with the Chinese colleagues, they took part in morning rounds, conferences, assisted during operations, and attended an outpatient reception. During their practice, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Healthcare system in China, the organization of work in one of the most modern clinics, to see the advanced equipment and the opportunities it provides for the successful treatment of patients.
