BSMU entered the ARES-2018 rating

The Bashkir State Medical University has entered the international ranking of higher education institutions - ARES-2018 (Academic Ranking of World Universities-European Standard) and strengthened its position, having risen from 119th place in 2017 to 105th in 2018. In addition, this year the drafters of the rating mentioned the Russian Medical Universities who have distinguished themselves advanced scientific knowledge and the quality of education, highlighting the Bashkir State Medical University along with Sechenov University and N.I. Pirogov Russian Scientific Research Medical University.

The purpose of the universities ranking is to assess the ability of universities to provide to students the necessary knowledge, participate in research activities, as well as the opportunity of active communication with future employers. It is noted that the rating is processed automatically, eliminating the involvement of the human factor.

The rating is based on the European Standard of University education adopted by the European Association for quality assurance of higher education and the European Register of higher education quality approved by the European Commission.

The rating is based on the following indicators: scientific activity, international cooperation, demand for graduates, informatization, international recognition of the teaching staff, interaction with employers, membership in the European Academies of Sciences, awards issued by the European Commerce Chamber and the European Commission.
