Freshmen initiation into BSMU students

On September 24 in the main concert hall of the Republic Concert Hall “Bashkortostan” the traditional event "Freshmen initiation into BSMU students".
Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, opened the event:
- This year more than 1500 children from Russia and foreign countries – the best school graduates joined BSMU students. The University has all the possibilities in educational, scientific and clinical terms to ensure that students receive the most modern education - congratulated freshmen Valentin N. Pavlov
Every year "Initiation" becomes a landmark day for freshmen: having passed the most severe entrance tests, on this day freshmen give solemn promise, receive the symbols of BSMU student – student card, key knowledge and medical gown and can fully feel like students of one of the best medical Universities in the country.
Rafael G. Yapparov, the first Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan, congratulated the first-year students:
– As a graduate of BSMU, I can say that now you have all the conditions for successful learning - IT-technology, Internet resources and the opportunities that the University provides, so I wish you to use these tools efficiently throughout the learning path, - Rafael G. Yapparov wished the first-year students.
During the event, the first-year students acquainted with the life of the University: residents of the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation department performed the skills of the first aid on the simulators from BSMU Center of Practical Skills. The senior students showed the work in the team of the First Medical Television – MedLive TV, as well as the creative teams of the University, who presented the brightest concert program: folk, modern, ballroom dancing, instrumental department, solo vocals, singing in the male and female ensemble, choral performance. After the "Initiation” every freshman can join the stellar teams of BSMU and take part in the most important events not only of the University, but the Republic.
- Today I was able to communicate with the senior students and received answers to very important question about the training. Yes, the path is not easy, but it is necessary for the realization of my dream – to become a good doctor, - shared his impressions 1st year student of the faculty of Pediatrics, Ruslan Yangirov.
