On 20-23 September the social project became a part of the Acceleration project in the city of Aleksin in Tula region in the framework of the competition "Volunteer of Russia – 2018", passed the intensive program and was included in the top 100 in Russia.
"Helping Hands – lessons on friendship of peoples" is BSMU Volunteer Center project of the international direction. The priority of it is the development of international cooperation, improvement of foreign language skills, adaptation of Russian and foreign students in volunteering. Activists of the project hold monthly lessons of friendship between peoples in Ufa boarding schools in English. The foreign volunteers participated in it too and got acquainted children with the culture and traditions of other countries "in the first person".
The project "Helping Hands - lessons about friendship of peoples" aims at socialization and adaptation of children with disabilities and orphans through acquaintance with foreign citizens and learning English. The author of the project is the 4th year student of the faculty of Pediatrics, Mavlyutova Aliya, and the co – sponsors are 4th year students of faculty of General Medicine, Gallyamova Gadela and Kosenko Liana.
“Being social is being human,” says Anas Khan, a project volunteer, “I feel it's right when people share help, care and love with others. I turned out to be a real volunteer in the "country of opportunities - Russia". It gives me the potential to expand my own skills!”
