BSMU rector met with the delegations from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

On 19 October 2018, Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, met with the delegations of I. K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy and Tajik Institute of Medical Personnel Postgraduate Training. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan included Sabyrbek Jumabekov, Professor of KSMA, chief traumatologist of Kyrgyzstan, head of the Traumatology department, professors of the Traumatology department of KSMA - Gubaidulla Nasyrov, Bekturom Anarkulov, Chynybek Izabekov, and Marat Sabyraliev. Professor Abduvali Razzakov, head of the Traumatology and Orthopedics department in Tajik Institute of Medical Personnel Postgraduate Training, and associate Professor Kiyammidin Karimov, represented the delegation from Tajikistan. The meeting was held within the framework of the Republican Conference with international participation "Topical issues of traumatology practice", held in BSMU on October 19-20.

The meeting was attended by Professor Irina Rakhmatullina, Vice-rector for Scientific and Innovative work of BSMU, Professor Anvar Bakirov, Vice-rector for Medical Work, Professor Vitaly Viktorov, Vice-rector for Regional Health Development, Zufar Murtazin, assistant Vice-rector for Medical Work, Professor Naufal Zagidullin, head of the International Cooperation department.

Representatives of the universities reached an agreement on further cooperation within the framework of academic mobility: the exchange of students and teaching staff for lectures and joint master classes will be continued. In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the possibility of defending the doctoral dissertation in the BSMU Dissertation Council.

The Bashkir State Medical University and I. K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy signed the cooperation agreement in March 2015.  The Bashkir State Medical University and the Tajik Institute of Medical Personnel Postgraduate Training signed the cooperation agreement in November 2013.
