On 31 October 2018, BSMU hosted the International Russian and Kazakhstan Scientific Conference of young scientists “The role of medics and the Soviet people in the Victory over Nazism in the World War II”. Post-graduate students and students of our University took part in the Conference.
Alexander Yudin, regional coordinator of the all-Russian public movement "Victory Volunteers in the Republic of Bashkortostan", presented the book “Faces of Victory”. The book is the result of meetings of volunteers with participants of the Great Patriotic war who are living in Russia. "Faces of Victory" is the project aimed in preserving the memory of veterans of the Great Patriotic war, living in the Russian Federation, by publishing a series of books "Faces of Victory".
Azat Kinyabulatov, associate Professor of the Public Health and Health Organization department with the Course of IAPE, presented the report on "The activities of medical organizations in the Bashkir ASSR during the Great Patriotic war"
Also the students of the faculty of General Medicine presented their works on the following themes - "The role of the Soviet people against Nazism during the World War II" by Nataliya Denisenko; "Hospices during the World War II" by Danis Dutbaev; "The heroism of the Soviet doctors during the World War II" by Dinara Almukhametova; "The heroism of nurses during the World War II " by Diana Rakhmatullina; "Medical transport in the Great Patriotic war" by Marat Karimov; "Professor G. V. Kuznetsov’s contribution in recognition of the heroes of the 112th Bashkir cavalry division " by Amir Khairullin; "The activity of Professor A. I. Doynikov in Ulu-Telyak during the Great Patriotic war " by Albert Gilyazev, graduate student, and Elena Shiryaeva, 2nd year student.
