Selina Le May-Klippel, Professor from New York University, spoke at the conference in Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation Center

On 7 November Selina Le May-Klippel, Fulbright scholar, Professor at New York University, USA, and BSMU professor-neurologist, chief freelance neurologist of the Ministry of Healthcare in the Republic of Bashkortostan Leyla Akhmadeeva, spoke at the clinical conference at the Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation Center of "The Russian Railways", and visited its clinical departments. It should be reminded, that Selina Le May-Klippel teaches at our University during the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. Professor Indira Sakhautdinova, chief physician of the hospital, head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department 1 at BSMU, and Raisa Orenburkina, deputy chief physician of the hospital, acquainted colleagues with the work of the hospital.

Professor S. Le May-Klippel and Professor Indira Sakhautdinova discussed a number of topical issues of women's health, the forms of social and psychological support for women in Russia, Europe and the United States and identified the most pressing issues that require further cooperation. Professor S. Le May-Klippel plans to speak to teenagers and students on this topic upon her return to the United States, and share the results of the discussion with colleagues.

Next week, Professor Selina Le May-Klippel and Professor L. Akhmadeeva will give the lecture on neurology to students of the faculty of General Medicine in BSMU Clinic.
