On 16 November the forum of medical volunteers in the Volga Federal district started in Kazan. The volunteers from the Bashkir State Medical University attended he forum.
The three-day forum became the platform for communication, experience exchange and training of medical volunteers from the Volga Federal district.
The volunteers from 15 regions presented their projects at the forum. Only eight works were chosen for the poster presentation, where the educational and preventive project of BSMU medical volunteers "I love my kidneys" was included. Firuza Shingareeva, the coordinator of the all-Russian social movement "Medical Volunteers" in Bashkortostan, 6th year student of BSMU, presented that project. After the grand opening, trainings, master classes, a round table and a strategic session were held for medical volunteers. Oleg Salagay in the format of an open dialogue talked to the forum participants:
- Today, a huge number of people receive medical care with the participation of volunteers, learn how to eat and lead the healthy lifestyle. Hundreds of health posts become better in the event «#ДоброВСело» which is held by the volunteer doctors. All this is precisely the vaccination against indifference, as Veronika Skvortsova, the Minister of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, calls medical volunteering," said Oleg Salagay.
