BSMU took part in the meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan

On 25 March the National Youth Theater named after Mustay Karim hosted the solemn meeting dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Institutions of the Kirov district in Ufa presented the exhibition of their achievements.

Bashkir State Medical University represented the scientific and educational platform: the skills of the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tracheal intubation were demonstrated on the mannequins of the United Center of Simulation-Based Training for the visitors. Participants of the event had the opportunity to try themselves in the role of surgeons using laparoscopic virtual simulator, endobox – simulator of laparoscopic operations, developed by students of BSMU. Scientific clubs of the departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Virology with the course of IAPE, and Ophthalmology with the course of IAPE demonstrated their scientific developments, the Youth Scientific Society, BSMU Volunteer Center and BSMU student television "M2" told the participants about their activities.

The concert "Singing the Motherland» continued the meeting. The honorary guests of the concert were Valentin Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, Pavel Kachkaev, Deputy of the State Duma, Rimma Utyasheva, Deputy of the State Assembly Kurultai RB, deputies of the Council of the City district of Ufa RB, veterans who made a significant contribution to the development and formation of the district, heads of enterprises and organizations of the Kirov region.
