The academic mobility program at Abu Ali ibn Sin Bukhara State Medical Institute, Bukhara

Doctor of Medical Sciences Khasanova Guzel, Professor at the Infectious Diseases department of Bashkir State Medical University, visited Abu Ali ibn Sin Bukhara State Medical Institute under the program of academic mobility from April 6 to 15 April 2019.

During the visit, Professor G. Khasanova made presentations at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern technologies of diagnosis, treatment, prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases", which was held in Bukhara from 8 to 9 April and at the Second International training conference "Current state, problems and prospects of medical education" in Bukhara on April 12.

10 April Professor G. Khasanova within the framework of international cooperation between Abu Ali ibn Sin Bukhara State Medical Institute and the Bashkir State Medical University met with Professor, Amrillo Shodievich Inoyatov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, rector of Abu Ali ibn Sin Bukhara State Medical Institute, and Zharylkasynova Gaukhar Januzakovna, Vice-rector for academic and educational work, to discuss the vectors of scientific research.

During her stay in Bukhara, Prof. G. Khasanova gave teh lecture "Influenza and acute respiratory viral infections: modern aspects of diagnosis, clinical course and treatment" to students of the 6^th year of the Medical faculty. Later Professor held the master class on "Viral hepatitis at the present stage" for 5^th year students of the Medical faculty and teachers of the Infectious Diseases department of Abu Ali ibn Sin Bukhara State Medical Institute. At the master class the participants discussed the modern antiviral drugs and treatment regimens for viral hepatitis. Professor also gave the lecture to students of the 5^th year of the Medical faculty on "Helminth infections: clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment". The information on clinic, diagnosis and treatment of dwarf tapeworm, ascaridosis and giardiasis aroused particular interest among students.

Prof. G. Khasanova got acquainted with the work of Bukhara regional infectious diseases hospital, organized the meeting with doctors and exchange of experience in the treatment and diagnosis of infectious patients, as well as held a consultation of patients of Bukhara regional infectious diseases hospital.

Following the results of academic mobility Professor Amrillo Shodievich Inoyatov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, rector of Abu Ali ibn Sin Bukhara State Medical Institute, presented the letter of thanks to rector of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Healthcare of Russia, corresponding member of RAS, MD, Professor Valentin Pavlov.
