BSMU international students took part in the cross-country race at the "Dynamo" stadium

The competition was held on 17 April 2019 at the "Dynamo” stadium. At the opening ceremony were present: Ruslan Gainullin, head of the Physical Culture department of BSMU, Rail Abzalilov, Chairman of the Sports club at BSMU.
– Dear students! I sincerely congratulate you on the holiday of sport and health! – Ruslan Gainullin addressed to the students. – I wish everyone a good start and a safe finish. Athletics in BSMU is one of the most popular sports. Our athletes become prize-winners and winners of Republican and all-Russian competitions. The national team of our University in athletics annually goes to the final of the Festival of students of medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia "Physical culture and sport – the second profession of a doctor." Always happy to join the team of our University. And today let win the strongest!
More than 100 athletes representing the faculties attended the competition. Girls competed at a distance – 500 meters, and boys on 1000 meters.
The winners will be awarded with medals and certificates.
The University management fully supports the development of athletics. In the autumn-spring period, students are given the opportunity to study at the stadium "Dynamo". The stadium hosts University competitions and training sessions in physical culture.
Inter-faculty competitions continue. National teams of faculties will identify the strongest in basketball, mini-football, table tennis, chess and volleyball.
