BSMU is the co-organizer of the Republican Youth Ball

On 17 May, Ministry of Agriculture hosted in the Columned hall the Republican Youth Ball dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The organizers were the Bashkir State Medical University and the Youth Public Chamber at the State Assembly - Kurultai RB.

The ball was attended by Valentin Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS, Professor Vladimir Ishmetov, Vice-rector for Social Work of the University, Professor Ildar Sufiyarov, the dean of the faculty of Pediatrics, Zarina Gazizova, chair of the Youth Public Chamber at the State Assembly - Kurultai RB, and  students from all over the Republic.

The atmosphere of the XVIII-XIX centuries, when balls were a traditional form of communication and acquaintance among the aristocratic youth, was recreated at the ball. More than 150 participants and 200 guests experienced the terminology of the past: white gloves, ball gown, tailcoat, Polonaise, polka with claps, pas de patiner, quadrille, and gallop. According to the organizers, the Republican Youth Ball will be an annual event and more young people will be able to take part in it.
