German Professor Stefan Post visited BSMU Clinic

On 20 May Stefan Post, Professor of the Surgery department at the Medical faculty of Mannheim University of Heidelberg (Germany) – partner University of BSMU, in the framework of the academic mobility program, visited BSMU Clinic. The University Clinic held the round table on topical issues of modern Surgery with the participation of Professor Stefan Post, chief physician Shamil Bulatov, deputy chief physician for surgical care Ildar Galimov, doctors of surgical profile.

On 21 May at BSMU Clinic Professor Stefan Post gave a lecture on Surgery for students, residents and doctors. The Professor spoke about Surgery in developing countries in detail, about his experience as a surgeon in Africa and answered questions. Stefan Post got acquainted with the work of the Joint Simulation and Accreditation Center of BSMU, laboratory of radionuclide diagnostics, departments of the Clinic.

Deputy chief physician for surgical work Ildar Galimov and Professor from Germany visited the Center of Nuclear Surgery "PET Technology", the Republican Oncology center, and also took part in the meeting of BSMU Academic Council.

In accordance of the program, Professor meets with doctors and staff of clinical departments of BSMU at G. G. Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital, City Clinical Hospital #21, and participate in the Eurasian Congress of Urologists, which is held on 24-25 May in Ufa.
