The students of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy are at practice in BSMU

According to the "Memorandum of cooperation between South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and Bashkir State Medical University" from 13 to 29 May 2019, our University hosted students of the faculty of Pharmacy from South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. These students arrived for practical training in Pharmacognosy. It should be pointed out, that today South Kazakhstan Medical Academy is one of the leading universities of Kazakhstan and such meetings have become traditional.

The students, accompanied by K. K. Orynbasarova, Professor of the Pharmacognosy department at SKMA, got acquainted with the work of our University, the departments of the faculty of Pharmacy, the feature of teaching pharmaceutical disciplines, research laboratories. The Pharmacognosy department with the Course of Botany and Basics of Herbal Medicine supervised the practice of students from Kazakhstan. The guests got acquainted with the collection area of medicinal plants, a feature of cultivation of medicinal crops at the department.

SKMA students visited the Botanical garden of Ufa Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Sciences, the experimental farm "Lemonary", visited the production enterprise of "Herbs of Bashkiria", where they got acquainted with the production of various products from medicinal plant raw materials.

Our guests visited the International Scientific and Practical Conference organized by our University and became guests of honor at the Olympiad of the Lower Volga cluster on Pharmacy.

K. K. Orynbasarova, Professor of the Pharmacognosy department at SKMA, gave lectures and workshops on Pharmacognosy and Botany for students of the faculty of Pharmacy of BSMU in the framework of academic mobility.

At the meeting with BSMU Vice-rector A. A. Tsyglin, dean of the faculty pf Pharmacy N. V. Kudashkina guests exchanged greetings and gifts. The guests said that they were very pleased with the arrival to Bashkortostan and the practical training in Pharmacognosy in BSMU.
