22nd University Neurological Readings with participation of US Professor have started
22nd University Neurological Reading have started in BSMU. The Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Therapy Centre of BSMU organize the Readings. Traditionally, Readings are held with the participation of Cynthia Robinson, doctor of Medical Sciences, Physical therapist from the University of Washington.
The first days were spent with an emphasis on rehabilitation of patients with various wounds and edema under the guidance of professors Oleg Galimov and Leyla Akhmadeeva. For classes on rehabilitation of patients with wound surfaces, Professor Cynthia Robinson brought from the United States those dressings, which American experts use in practice and showed evidence-based techniques.
In the future, during the 22nd University Neurological Readings will deal with the rehabilitation of various frequent and rare conditions, including pain syndromes, Guillain-Barre syndrome, the use of Bobat therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation and hippotherapy.
