Dmitriy Morozov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Healthcare, visited BSMU and the University Clinic

On September 4, Dmitriy Morozov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Healthcare, visited Bashkir State Medical University and BSMU Clinic. Dmitriy Morozov visited a new academic building of BSMU and the Institute of Public Health, which was solemnly opened on 2 September.

At BSMU Clinic Dmitry Morozov got acquainted with work of the Robotic Surgery Center, United Center of Simulation-Based Training, maternity hospital, pediatric chamber. He also visited the cath lab of the Cardiovascular and X-ray Surgery department, Departments of Urology, Oncology, Intensive Care, Surgery.

On 3 September, as part of his visit to Ufa, Dmitriy Morozov took part in the V Forum of Pediatric Surgeons of Russia with international participation and the I Russian – Chinese Congress of Pediatric Surgeons. It should be pointed out, that it was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Healthcare of Bashkortostan, the 55th anniversary of the Pediatric Surgical Service organization in Bashkortostan and the 50th anniversary of the Pediatric Surgery Department of BSMU.
