All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Interdisciplinary Neurology”

On 24 October 2019 BSMU campus №10 hosted the all-Russian scientific-practical conference “Interdisciplinary Neurology”. Bashkir State Medical University, Professor L. B. Novikova, head of the Neurology department of IAPE at BSMU, together with the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University organized the conference. The conference was attended by the leading scientists-neurologists of the Russian Federation: Professor Al. B. Danilov, MD, head of the Nervous Diseases department of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Executive Director of the Association of Interdisciplinary Medicine (Moscow); An. B. Danilov –Professor of the Nervous Diseases department of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, MD, Chairman of the Board of Experts of the Association of Interdisciplinary Medicine (Moscow); E. G. Filatova – Professor of the Nervous Diseases department of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, MD (Moscow); associate Professor N. V. Titova – Ph. D., specialist in extrapyramidal diseases of the Neurology and Neurosurgery department of the N. I. Pirogov Moscow State Medical University (Moscow); F. I. Devlikamova – MD, Professor of the Neurology department of Additional Professional Pharmaceutical Education at Kazan State Medical Academy (Kazan); M. V. Nesterova – MD, Professor of the Nervous Diseases and Neurosurgery department of the Ural State Medical Academy", head of the Laboratory of cerebral circulation at Sverdlovsk Regional Clinical Neuropsychiatric Hospital for War Veterans" (Yekaterinburg); A. E. Khrulev – Ph. D., associate Professor of the Neurology, Neurosurgery and Medical Genetics department Privolzhsky Research Medical University (Nizhny Novgorod); and others.

The welcoming speech was made by Professor Irina R. Rakhmatullina, the Vice-rector for scientific work, Professor L. B. Novikova, head of the Neurology Department of IAPE at BSMU, Professor Al. B. Danilov, MD, head of the Nervous Diseases department of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.  Two hundred doctors from different cities and districts of Bashkortostan (Salavat, Ishimbay, Neftekamsk, Sterlitamak, etc.) participated in the conference. Reports on topical issues of preventive neurology, interdisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment of comorbid patients, cerebral ischemia and neurodegeneration, Parkinson's disease, pain syndromes in General medical practice, degenerative diseases of the spine, new methods of diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases, etc. were presented at the conference.

The conference was held at a high level with an active discussion and detailed answers of lecturers to the questions of the conference participants. All participants of the conference received certificates.
