BSMU participated in the regional forum #Дома

On February 5, at the initiative of the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, the #Дома forum was held in Ufa, bringing together students from the Republic who study in other cities and countries.

In total, more than 1000 students took part in the forum.

Andrey Nazarov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov and Fanur Yagafarov, Deputy Prime Ministers, Alexander Sidyakin, head of the administration of the head of the Republic, met with the participants. The officials told about the direction in which the Republic is developing, and which industries are most in need of young specialists today.

According to Andrey Nazarov’s speech, today the doors of the Republic are wide open for students who have gone to study in other regions of the country, and they can return home to work after receiving a high-quality education. During the meeting, students asked many questions related to their future employment, many of them immediately received offers for internships in the government or ministries. Alexander Sidyakin noted that the Republic needs doctors, engineers, and IT specialists.

BSMU and other universities of the Republic presented its platform of scientific and student achievements.

- BSMU is waiting for students studying in other universities of the country, according to the program "Medicine of the future" of Sechenov University. We are ready to provide job for doctors, teachers, and researchers. Moreover BSMU has opportunities for employment and self-realization for physicists, chemists, mathematicians, IT specialists, specialists in international relations, - said Valentin Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS.

The forum featured educational platforms where participants could talk to speakers and moderators in an open dialogue format and get acquainted with the activities of enterprises and universities in the region: "Life hacks of career design", "Success Code: Education. Science", "Best start for doctors", "Digital industry and energy", "Trade & Kitchen: the art of surprise", "Village as the territory of your opportunities", "Design your success", "Open talk "Business territory", "Power structures as a reliable future", "Culture and art", "Five business ideas in the tourism sector".

The forum ended with a festive quiz, disco and excursions to educational institutions of the city. During the tour of BSMU, participants got acquainted with the main activities of the University, buildings and the anatomical Museum.
