BSMU young medicos became grant winners of the Republic of Bashkortostan

On February 12, twenty-five young medicos working on innovative projects in various fields of Science received grants from the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2020. The corresponding Decree was signed the day before by the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov. The list of winners is based on the results of the Commission's work on the competition of young scientists' projects for Republican grants. Each of them will receive 1 million rubles.

The grant holders were graduate students and employees of BSMU:

Beylerli Ozal, scientific project Long Non-coding RNAS as Therapeutic Targets for Invasive Pituitary Adenomas,

Saubanov Radmir, Analysis of Functional Activity in the Perioperative Period in Patients with Osteoarthritis of the Hip and Knee Joints,

Akhmetova Elvina, Social, Personal, Molecular and Genetic Features of Adolescent Consumers of Synthetic Cannabioids with Symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

State awards were presented by Alexander Sidyakin, the head of the Administration of the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Rectors of higher education institutions of the Republic took part in the ceremony.

- All the developments noted today deserve serious attention - said during the presentation Alexander Sidyakin, the head of the regional administration, — Those who became winners are great fellows! The presented projects cover almost all sectors of energy, agriculture, aerospace, engineering, healthcare, and education. There are promising studies at the intersection of Sciences. The new methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases proposed by you will help to strengthen people's health and increase life expectancy in the Republic. We need further development of our agro-industrial complex. A unique cultivator and a new technology of soil treatment, which provides multi-level fertilization, will bring great benefits to agriculture. This will significantly increase the yield of our fields. The winners include projects in the field of Physics, Biophysics, and Biochemistry. There are interesting projects in the field of Economics and Sociology. The main thing is that all of them should be implemented in order to help solving the problems facing the Economy, the real sector of industry, and improve the quality of life of the region's residents.
