BSMU volunteers at the COVID-19 new coronavirus pandemic

More than two thousand students of Bashkir State Medical University have become active participants in the movement to combat the COVID-19 new coronavirus infection. Volunteer movement in BSMU develops in two main directions: providing medical care to citizens and social volunteerism, which is currently developing quite rapidly

According to the letter of the Minister of healthcare of the Russian Federation №16-0/ I/2-3310 dated 20.03.2020 by M. A. Murashko, Bashkir State Medical University has been operating the headquarters Medical Volunteers for Elderly and Disabled Citizens since March 21, 2020. Volunteers participate in the purchase and delivery of food and medicine to elderly and disabled citizens. In this direction, medical volunteers work together with the all-Russian People's Front. Our volunteers have served more than 600 applications during the work of the headquarters.

BSMU volunteers in practical healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan do not only provide medical care, they also conduct remote thermometry and antiseptic treatment of hands of all visitors of medical institutions, carry out general cleaning, work with documentation, deliver prescriptions to elderly and disabled citizens to home.

Today, our volunteers work in City Clinics №38 and №48, Children's City Clinics №2, №4 and №6, Emergency hospital, Oncology dispensary, Republican Blood Transfusion Station, Call Center of the Republican Emergency Medical Service Station, Republican Children's Clinical Hospital, BSMU Clinic and other medical institutions.

Today we publish photos of students of the faculty of Pediatrics who have joined the volunteer movement in the fight against the spread of a new coronavirus infection and actively help State Childre’s Clinic №6 in Ufa. Every day, each student volunteer works for 6 hours, performing all possible and necessary work on the instructions of the administration. At the same time, the students follow strict protection rules to protect themselves and those who need help.

Let's do good deals! On the site https://мывместе2020.рф/ the aggregator is open where everyone can offer their help, become a volunteer and learn useful news. On the portal https://dobro.ru/ launched the online educational course for volunteers to help elderly people in an emergency (coronavirus) as part of  #МыВместе campaign.
