Radiy Khabirov, head of Bashkortostan, in his account in social networks thanks the volunteers-students from Bashkir State Medical University who help the elderly residents of the Republic in the framework of the all-Russian mutual aid campaign #мывместе. Any elderly person 60+ years or people having difficulties with movement can ask to buy and deliver the necessary food, medicine and essential goods. The hotline number 8 800-200-34-11 is open around-the-clock.

Call-center is working in the following way: all calls go to the Federal call center, and then the information is sent to the regions. Medical volunteers contact the applicant, specify the shopping list and the time of visit. All purchases are delivered to the apartment, and then the applicant pays the volunteers according to check. Medical volunteers do not enter apartments, and they observe all security measures so as not to expose an elderly person to danger. Young volunteers work exclusively in masks and gloves, use antiseptics, keep a distance. To protect against fraud, each application is assigned an identification number, and the medical volunteer is required to name it during the visit.

"The call center of the #мывместе campaign headquarters has been working since March 18, and all the volunteers have already helped 963 residents of the Republic currently. And honestly deserved gratitude, thanks from the main person in Bashkortostan — Radiya Khabirov — a great, inspiring support, in this situation — is as a medal. Students of Bashkir State Medical University is the future of our Medicine and, it turns out, the future of our country. Now in the country and the Republic there is a time when the best human and professional traits of everyone are shown: I think that BSMU volunteers have already passed this civil exam "automatically" and have earned the trust of their future patients.
