Online Russian-Chinese conference on coronavirus infection

On April 10, 2020, Bashkir State Medical University took part in the scientific online conference Coronavirus infection. Experience of Jilin University.

Leading infectious diseases specialists and intensive care specialists from Jilin University (China) attended the conference.

Chinese experts spoke about treatment methods, diagnostics, and prevention measures. Professor Li Fan, President of the Health Science Center of Jilin University, emphasized that the measures of quarantine and self-isolation had brought results, and they were able to control the spread of infection.

Twenty-two groups joined the conference call with up to twenty people in each group. The large audience of participants gathered in the Scientific Library, in the Digital Medicine hall, in the lecture hall of the BSMU Clinic, as well as at the headquarters of medical volunteers.

- Jilin University is one of the partner universities of Bashkir State Medical University. Each participant of the online conference received the necessary information,- said Valentin Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. – Online conference is a convenient format for communication and exchange of experience during quarantine.
