BSMU has launched the Consultancy and Resource Center for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 new coronavirus infection and pneumonia

Bashkir State Medical University has created the Consultancy and Resource Center for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 new coronavirus infection and pneumonia. This issue was discussed on April 13, 2020 at the online conference of the Association Council of rectors of medical and pharmaceutical higher educational institutions https://www.bashgmu.ru/en/news/28406/.

Management and control of the Center's activities by the order of BSMU rector are assigned to Professor V. V. Viktorov, Vice-rector for regional health development, head of the Department of Faculty Pediatrics with Courses in Pediatrics, Neonatology and the Simulation Center of IAPE.

The Center will provide scientific and methodological assistance to medical organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 new coronavirus infection and pneumonia in adults and consultations on the specialties Infectious Diseases, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Therapy, Pediatrics, Epidemiology. It is planned to conduct remote seminars for medical professionals on the peculiarities of the clinical course, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases caused by the COVID-19 strain of coronavirus. The Center will operate on the Microsoft Teams platform.
