The first team of medicos at the COVID-19 hospital of BSMU Clinic has completed a two-week shift

On April 29, the first team of medicos at the COVID-19 hospital of t BSMU Clinic left their 14-day shift and a new one has started working in their place.

The staff of the Clinic met their first heroes and sent new ones to a two-week service.

- In this difficult time, we have become even more United team and I am grateful to our employees: no one refused to bear this difficult post and in difficult times, every day they show courage, fortitude and true faith of the profession! And on behalf of the Clinic, we thank the Ufa companies that support our employees, " - said Shamil Bulatov, chief doctor of the Clinic of Bashkir State Medical University.

Medical workers at the COVID-19 hospital work in the shifts for 14 days, after which they stay at home for two-weeks’ self-isolation.

- Bashkir State Medical University is actively involved in the fight against coronavirus infection. Students, residents and teaching staff work in the COVID19-hospitals of the BSMU Clinic, City Clinical Hospital №18 in Ufa, City Clinical Hospital of Dyomsky district, - said Valentin Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS.
