BSMU medicos start working in the Amur region

On June 17, 2020, the team of Bashkir State Medical University consisting of nine doctors and fourteen nurses and paramedical personnel went to the Amur region, to the local infectious diseases hospital to help colleagues treat patients with coronavirus infection.

According to Mikhail Murashko, Russian Healthcare Minister, experienced doctors, sent to the regions, will help "not only build routing, but also provide specific assistance to patients and improve outcomes."

- The team consists of professionals who have repeatedly kept watch in the "red zone",-said Valentin Pavlov, rector of Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. - Exchange of experience with our German and Chinese colleagues, who previously accepted the challenge of a new coronavirus infection, allowed us to be ready and apply advanced methods of treatment and diagnosis.

Since June 16, the combined team of doctors has been working in Karachay-Cherkessia, consisting of 8 specialists from the National Research Center of Cardiology and 17 doctors from Bashkir State Medical University.
