BSMU international students spend summer vacations in the sports and recreation camp "Pulse"

On July 9, the sports and recreation event “My Family” was held in Pulse. Organizers of the event were the Department of physical training and Dean's office for work with international students. Students were accompanied by Ilgam Z. Ishmukhametov, a teacher of the Department of physical training, master of sports of Russia in athletics, curator of work with international students.

- Dear students! I am glad to welcome you to the sports and recreation camp of our University! - Ilgam Z. Ishmukhametov noted during the opening ceremony – "All conditions for holding competitions, sport events and active recreation have been created on the basis of the Pulse. Welcome!

The program of the event was very intense. After the warm-up, the students were divided into teams. The students took part in the following sport competitions: football, volleyball, streetball, chess, free throws to the basketball basket.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined.

1st place – team "Champion".

2nd place – team "Pulse".

3rd place – team "Masters".

The students were full of positive emotions.

– Due to the current situation with the coronavirus, like most of my countrymen, I was unable to go home on vacation. From the first day of distance learning, teachers and doctors visited us in our dormitories and carefully monitored the health and well-being of everyone. Now curators are actively working with us. On behalf of all international students of BSMU, I would like to thank the University's management for organizing our leisure activities and for the attention paid to us. Today's event was enjoyed by absolutely everyone.

– I really liked the nature and the base of the camp. I look forward to next summer. I want to come here and spend part of my vacation in this beautiful place.
