BSMU international students visited horse races at the Akbuzat hippodrome

On September 5, the XII stage of the Republican equestrian sports tournament "Terra Bashkiria" was held at the Akbuzat hippodrome. Equestrians from Zianchurinsky, Miyakinsky, Karmaskalinsky, Bakalinsky and Mechetlinsky districts of Bashkortostan took part in it.

International students of Bashkir State Medical University attended the event.

– We would like to express our gratitude to the University management for the opportunity to attend such a unique event! It was the first time we saw horse racing live. Emotions cannot be expressed in words! - Akhmat Abakar, a student from Africa, shared his impressions.

A sightseeing tour at the Hippodrome and tasting of Bashkir honey were organized for the students.

Ilgam Ishmukhametov and Ilnar Salavatov, teachers of the Physical Culture department, accompanied the students.

"Terra Bashkiria" is held since 2019 to promote equestrian sports, horses of the Bashkir breed, and the development of horse breeding.
