BSMU representatives took prizes at the Congress on Cardiology

On 9-11 September, the annual Russian scientific and practical conference and the 60th session, which were dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Federal state budgetary institution National Medical Research Center of Cardiology, were held in person. Mikhail Murashko, Minister of healthcare of the Russian Federation, and leading cardiologists of Russia attended the opening ceremony of the Congress. The delegation of Bashkir State Medical University took part in the Congress either. BSMU delegates made presentations and participated in the poster competition.

According to the results of the posters’ competitions BSMU presentation poster "Genetic features of sick sinus syndrome node" (authors E. A. Badykova, M. R. Sadykov, N. Sh. Zagidullin, L. Z. Ahmadullina, I. E. Nikolaeva, I. S. Sagitov) took the 2nd place among 60 works. In addition, Badykova Elena Albertovna, a graduate of BSMU, took 2nd place in the competition of young scientists with the report "Analysis of adverse cardiovascular events in the syndrome of weakness of sinus node."

At the closing ceremony, the Director of the Federal state budgetary institution National Medical Research Center of Cardiology S. A. Boitsov, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, presented the corresponding awards to the winners.
