From October 8, 2020, Clinic of Bashkir State Medical University resumes receiving patients with coronavirus infection. The hospital has deployed 150 beds to provide medical care to patients with COVID-19.
The clinic is equipped with the necessary equipment: ventilators, oxygen stations, personal protective equipment, respirators and medicines. Resuscitation and intensive care beds were organized, clean and dirty zones were created, and airlocks were installed.
- The therapeutic process is provided by highly qualified staff, expert support leading researchers of the University, pulmonologists, infectious disease specialists, anesthetists, and epidemiologists, - said Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS. – Our students and residents also provide medical assistance.
