International Students took part in the project named "Open Russian"

On 1st of December 2016 foreign students of the Bashkir State Medical University and Russian language teachers took part in the project named "Open Russian", which was held at the base of the City Exhibition Complex.
The event consisted of 3 parts. At the beginning there was a lecture devoted to the complexities of understanding the Russian lexicology, the amazing Russian handwriting etc.
After listening the interesting facts about the modern Russian language, the participants were invited to the couches for a conversation. Every 5 minutes, participants changed their partners. At first, the students were confused because they had never been in a Russian-speaking environment, but after half an hour all participants became good friends. After the training, organizers had offered to play a popular game "crocodile" in which one team thinks of a word and the other tries to guess it.
Participants were very active, all of them took part with a great interest.

The organizers were so friendly and welcoming that our students even after 3 hours of being there did not want to leave the event. We are grateful to all the organizers of this event, who are helping foreigners to break the shackles of fear and begin practicing their Russian in a friendly environment of foreigners, where you don't have to be afraid of making any mistakes.
