"From menarche to menopause" conference with international participation was held online

On November 28, the scientific and practical online conference with international participation From menarche to menopause was held. The leading specialists on Obstetrics and Gynecology of Bashkir State Medical University, I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, from the cities of Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude attended the Conference. Dr. Beda Hartmann, head of the Department of obstetrics and gynecology at Eastern social medical center and the Danube hospital of Vienna University, Alexander Albrecht, head of Department of obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital Burgenland, and Xiuli San, Deputy head of the Department of obstetrics and gynecology, people's hospital of Peking University, presented their reports at the Conference, too.

More than 500 doctors attended the online event and had the opportunity to ask questions to the lecturers.

The conference was organized in two sections. The range of issues was from girls' health to women's adulthood. The participants focused on the issues of organ-preserving operations. Doctors of the Clinic of Bashkir State Medical University shared their experience of robot-assisted operations for cervical cancer. At the online meeting the participants discussed the organization of work in a specialized infectious maternity hospital in the context of the new Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
