Victory of BSMU students at the International competition of reports

International round table of the student scientific society Impossible today will become possible tomorrow took place online 3 December 2020 on the initiative of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and BSMU partnership, Samarkand State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan), which had a symbolic meaning: for thousands of kilometers "the bridge was routed" between Avicenna and Kant.

The program included 19 reports in Russian and English, which were presented by students and young scientists from the best medical and classical universities of St. Petersburg, Bukhara, Tashkent, Izhevsk, Samarkand and Ufa.

Congratulations to BSMU winners:

Azaliya Akhunova, 3-year student of the faculty of Pediatrics (1st prize in the nomination Best Report),

Elena Kolodyazhnaya, 5-year student of the faculty of General Medicine (2nd prize in the nomination Best Report),

Regina Ishmakova, 5-year student of the faculty of General Medicine (3rd prize in the nomination The Most creative report).

Members of the departments of Neurology, Pedagogics and Psychology, and Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of BSMU presented the series of presentations led by Professor Leyla Akhmadeeva, associate professors Elena Lipatova and Rais Gizatullin.

The presented works are the result of the inter-University project (Bashkir State Medical University and Ufa State petroleum Technical University) and BSMU Research and educational center Psychology, Pedagogics, Neurology, Neurorehabilitation’ work. BSMU was represented by a first-year student Azaliya Yakshimbetova and resident Rinat Gizatullin, and USPTU was represented by the team led by Yulia Urazbakhtina, head of the Department of biomedical engineering.

Great thanks from the participants to close friend Zilola Mavlyanova, head of the Department of medical rehabilitation at Samarkand State Medical Institute, for inviting BSMU students to participate and for regularly participation in BSMU educational events. We congratulate her son Saifiddin Mavlyanov, a first-year student of the International faculty at Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University with 2nd prize for an excellent report in good English about Avicenna in the nomination The Most creative report. The cooperation between Bashkir State Medical University and Samarkand Medical Institute in our University was initiated and successfully supervised by Professor Valery Sataev (Department of pediatric surgery).

We thank the management of BSMU and the Department for International Affairs of BSMU for their constant support, we believe in the continuation of friendship and the success of our current and future joint projects!
