Department of infectious diseases organized and held three International conferences in cooperation with international partner universities in November

Despite the difficulties that arise because of the new coronavirus pandemic, Bashkir State Medical University is actively developing international cooperation. In November, the Department of infectious diseases with the course of IAPE organized and held three international conferences in cooperation with partner universities.

On November 27, the International conference Modern Nephrology: today and tomorrow was held. Bashkir State Medical University and Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute (Bukhara, Uzbekistan) were the organizers of the Conference. On the side of BSMU Professor Guzel M. Khasanova, Department of infectious diseases with the course of IAPE, and Maria Yu. Pavlova, candidate of Medical Sciences, assistant of the Department of hospital pediatrics, made the reports. The collection of reports and abstracts of the Conference’s participants was published by the results of the international event.

Participants and speakers of the Conference represented the following countries: Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

On November 20, the International scientific and practical conference of young scientists Science and health was held in cooperation with Semey Medical University (Semey, Kazakhstan). Professors Guzel M. Khasanova and Rasima T. Murzabayeva, Department of infectious diseases with the course of IAPE, held the study case Flu, SARS, COVID19. Differential diagnosis. The study case aroused great interest among the participants, and many questions were asked, especially regarding the new coronavirus infection.

Doctors and scientists from four regions of Kazakhstan, Japan, and Russia attended the Conference.

November 13-14, 2020 Bashkir State Medical University in cooperation with international partner universities: South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Semey Medical University, Bukhara State Medical Institute, Institute of human immunology and genomics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, and Russian partners: Institute of biochemistry and genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Central Research Institute of epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, National scientific society of infectious diseases of Russia, held the International research and practical conference Fundamental and applied aspects of Immunology, Genetics and Infectology. The conference and publication of materials were supported by a grant from the Russian Foundation for basic research. Head of the grant is Professor Guzel M. Khasanova, Department of infectious diseases with the course of IAPE. The collection of articles of the Conference participants was published in the Central press (St. Petersburg), posted in the RSCI, each article has a DOI. More than 3,600 people attended the Conference. Eight countries were represented: Russia, China, USA, Germany, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Ukraine.

The development of international cooperation makes it possible to expand and deepen the competence of doctors, scientists, and students, and to exchange up-to-date information.
