BSMU students became winners and awardee of the "Third Open Eurasian Student Games of Martial Arts"

Competitions were held from 5 to 8 February 2021 in Ufa in Bashkir State Agrarian University. More than 400 athletes from the Republic of Bashkortostan and the nearest regions took part in the Games, including 30 students from Bashkir State Medical University.

Within the framework of the Games, demonstration and competitive events were held simultaneously in three sports halls in 15 disciplines of 8 accredited sports: aikido, belt wrestling, all-round karate, kickboxing, mas-wrestling, Thai boxing, taekwondo-do and wushu.

BSMU students showed good results. Also BSMU international became winners and awardee. In the kickboxing section, the winners and awardee were:

Sherzod Matekubov (faculty of General Medicine, group 620) – 1st place (60 kg).

Ikrom Zaynedinov (faculty of General Medicine, group 619) – 2nd place (71 kg).

Jasurbek Shodiev (faculty of Dentistry, group 507) – 3rd place (69 kg).

Ihsan Chupanov (faculty of General Medicine, group 506) – 2nd place (89 kg).

Congratulations to the athletes and coaches Rinat R. Galiakberov, senior teacher of the Department of Physical Training at BSMU, and Alexander S. Tonkachev, teacher of the Department of Physical Trainig at BSMU, and we wish you victories.

In the sambo section, the winners and awardee were:

Rem Ilyin (faculty of Dentistry, group 202) – 2nd place (+98 kg).

Jasurbek Dzhumaev (faculty of General Medicine, group 219) – 2nd place (up to 58 kg).

Bekhruz Nabotov (faculty of General Medicine, group 319) – 3rd place (up to 79 kg).

Givod Boloyan (faculty of Dentistry, group 106 A) – 3rd place (up to 71 kg).

We congratulate the athletes and coach Ilnar A. Salavatov, senior teacher of the Department of Physical Training at BSMU, and wish them good luck.
