BSMU international students take part in the Sports Contest among faculties in selected sports

On April 1, 2021, the opening ceremony of the annual traditional Sports Contest among university faculties in selected sports was held in BSMU campus #10. The event was attended by Rail Abzalilov, the chairman of the sports club of Bashkir State Medical University, deputy deans of faculties, teachers of the Department of Physical training and participants.

- Dear participants of the competition, I am glad to welcome you at the opening of the competition, which is traditional and has been held for many years in a row. Inter-faculty competitions help to identify talented athletes to attract to the university teams. The event promotes healthy and active lifestyle. I wish you all good luck! Let the strongest man win! - said Rail Abzalilov in his welcoming address.

On the first day, mini-football, darts and table tennis competitions were held.

Results of the team competition on darts:

First prize – Faculty of General Medicine;

Second prize - Faculty of Preventive Medicine and Biology;

Third prize – Faculty of Dentistry;

Fourth prize – BSMU Medical College;

Fifth prize - International Faculty;

Sixth prize – Faculty of Pediatrics;

Seventh prize – Faculty of Pharmacy.

Men:

First prize - Fanis Rakhmatullin (Faculty of Pediatrics, group 108);

Second prize - Ruslan Tukhvatullin (Faculty of General Medicine, group 204);

Third prize — Ilgiz Saligaskarov (Faculty of Preventive Medicine and Biology, group 501).

Women:

First prize - Nazgul Vakilova (Faculty of Pediatrics, group 311);

Second prize - Ulyana Germanova (Faculty of Pharmacy, group 201);

Third prize - Ksenia Samsonova (Faculty of General Medicine, group 505).

The winners were awarded with diplomas and medals.

The Sports Contest will last until April 15. The teams of the faculties will identify the strongest in volleyball, streetball and track and field athletics.
