250th anniversary of the great composer Beethoven in the life of international students

On December 16, 2020 marked the 250th anniversary of the great German composer Ludwig van Beethoven. This date did not remain without the attention of the creative community of our Republic, and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the leadership of Azamat Khasanshin have given a concert recently, which became for our first-year international students and foreign students of pre-university training courses the first acquaintance with classical music, with the work of the world-famous composer, and with music performed by the symphony orchestra as a whole. Overtures, songs, romances, fantasies, violins, cellos, piano, sadness, exultation, longing, hope – all these were an amazing discovery to get acquainted with the world of music for our students. As Leo Tolstoy wrote it is a "transcript of human feelings" and can not only be the background of our daily life, but also a medicine that heals from mental pain, a mirror in which you can see yourself and your life, a teacher who can teach you to understand the world and people around you. The impressions of our students from the concert, which were outside the framework of everyday student life, were expressed by exclamations "beautiful", "incredible", "unforgettable", "amazing music of freedom", "music that touches the soul" ... And we are very happy that Russia and the Republic of Bashkortostan open doors for our international students not only to science and education, but also to the world of music, art and the boundless ability of a person to be a creator – both at the piano and at the operating table.
