BSMU New Year vacations

It’s well-known that vacations are the great opportunity to relax and enjoy your time after busy rhythm of studies during the semester. At the same time this is not the reason to stop your personal and professional growth. That is why, on the initiative of Rector Valentin Pavlov, in 2019, the university launched the program “Useful Holidays”, within the framework of which cultural and educational, sports and leisure activities are provided during the long New Year and May holidays’ vacations. We also offer attractive educational schools.

These New Year holidays will not be an exception.

On New Year's Eve, the Christmas Tree and entertainment program will be organized in front of BSMU building No.2. The event is planned in strict accordance with the requirements of anti-epidemic norms.

During the New Year holidays, the University has developed an extensive cultural, leisure and sports program, which is complemented by interesting educational schools.

Among the educational events, you can join the Winter School "Dentistry is my passion", which has been established itself as the most popular. The participants of the school have the opportunity to test the knowledge gained during the year on mannequins, and during visits to the dental clinic – not only to observe the work of doctors, but also to conduct a preventive examination of the oral cavity under the supervision of experienced tutors.

The Winter Anatomy School is the youngest, but is no less popular among students. At the Winter Anatomy School participants will work with dummies and wet preparations. This is very important for students after a period of distance learning.

Traditional Winter Surgery School and excursions to the anatomical museum of two morphological departments - anatomy and operative surgery - will also be conducted during the vacations.

Additional educational courses for accreditation exams in the Republic of India (in online format) will be available for everyone.

This year we will launch new Winter Schools - Biology School and Master-class on Experimental Medicine!
