International students returned from internship in rural hospital outside Ufa

For the third year in a row, the programs "Useful Holidays" and "Summer of Achievements" have been successfully functioning, which were launched on the initiative of Rector Valentin Pavlov. Within the framework of these programs, not only additional educational events are provided for our students, but also cultural and educational, sports and leisure activities.

One of the components of the "Summer of Achievements" program is the practice of students outside Ufa, which, in addition to the main purpose, educational, carries an additional aim – the acquaintance of foreigners with our Republic. This time, from July 4 to July 19, 2022, students of the University had an internship at the Mesyagutovo District Rural Hospital. The students acquired practical skills and improved their level of proficiency in Russian, and their mentors from Mesyagutovo were able to refresh English language skills that had been forgotten since school graduation. The administration of the district and the chief physician of the Mesyagutovo hospital Valery Trofimov, organized tours of the sights of the Republic of Bashkortostan for their foreign guests.

The university and medical institutions are ready to offer employment in hospitals to students (nurse certificate needed).
