The summer educational School "Surge.skills" has started its work. Classes were organized at the club "MASTERING EXCELLENCE IN STUDIES" under the patronage of the Dean's Office for international students. Educational events during the holidays are held within the framework of the BSMU program "Useful Vacations", launched more than 3 years ago on the initiative of BSMU Rector, Academician Valentin Pavlov. In 2020, the club members won a grant from Rosmolodezh agency and as part of the implementation of the grant project "Surge.Skills", the club purchased equipment in the amount of 400 thousand rubles, including various surgical kits and tools for honing laparoscopic and microsurgical skills. The implementation of the project "Surge.Skills" will improve the level of professionalism of our students, and will also help to form a multilingual educational environment at the University. Today, the School of Surgery has gathered more than 200 students from different countries and 140 students have joined the online broadcast from their countries. The first lesson of the school has interested the reporters of the BST TV channel, so we are waiting for a report about the school in the very near future. Today, more than 12,000 people are studying at BSMU in various fields of training, including representatives of 57 countries of the world, such schools create a multilingual environment and increase the competitiveness of university graduates.
