BSMU hosted an international round table in online format with the Samarkand State Medical University

Within the framework of International cooperation between two universities – Bashkir State Medical University and Samarkand State Medical University, which have long associated themselves with friendly and professional relations, on September 20, 2022 held an international round table in online format on the topical topic "Borderline problems of pediatric surgery and pediatrics".

The moderator of the international round table was the head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery No. 1, Professor of the Samarkand State Medical University Sh.A. Yusupov.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the Vice-rector Borodulina Tatiana Viktorovna, Vice-rector for Educational Activities and Youth Policy of the Ural State Medical University, MD. Yekaterinburg); Kabirov Ildar Raifovich, Vice-Rector for Research and Digital Transformation of Bashkir State Medical University, PhD, Associate Professor ( Ufa); Razin Maxim Petrovich, Vice-Rector for Research and Development, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the Kirov State Medical University ( Kirov).

The geographical spread of the round table brought together major specialists in the field of pediatric surgery, pediatrics, neonatology from different parts of Russia (Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Tomsk), CIS countries (Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic) and abroad (USA). The scientific program was formed and structured on the main issues of pediatrics, the practice of pediatric surgery, child abuse syndrome, problems of perinatal psychology.

The organizers of the round table on the part of BSMU were the Department of Pediatric Surgery with Physical and Medical Rehabilitation with the course of extended education – Professor V.U. Sataev, Department of Philosophy – Associate Professor O.G. Afanasyeva, Department of Pharmacognosy with a course of botany and fundamentals of phytotherapy – Associate Professor E.H. Galiakhmetovа.

The result of the conference was an active discussion.
