The leading scientist of the Eurasian REC – Yulia Kzhyshkovska gave a lecture at the REC Lecture Hall

On October 28, a lecture on oncoimmunology was held for students of BSMU in the 8th building.

We all know that immunity saves a person from infections caused by microbes. It protects us not only from environmental influences, but also from the degeneration of our own cells into cancer cells. She told about it (and will also tell about it) Kzhyshkovska Yulia Georgievna.

Kzhyshkovska Yulia Georgievna — head of the Department of Innate Immunity and Immunological Tolerance of the University of Heidelberg and head of the laboratory of translational cellular and molecular biomedicine of the Tomsk NIMC, a leading scientist who conducts scientific research with BSMU scientists within the framework of the megagrant of the Eurasian REC.

The audience learned about the role of innate immunity in cardiovascular diseases and oncology, and what is the role of acquired immunity in these processes. Yulia Georgievna Kzhyshkovska will talk about the advanced achievements of modern science in understanding the mechanisms of action and the possibilities of therapeutic programming of the human body's defense system.
