The project "Cultural map of a foreign student" is being successfully implemented at BSMU

In accordance with the proposal of the Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov, the BSMU launched the project "Cultural map of a foreign student" by analogy with the federal project "Pushkin Map", which allows every citizen of Russia aged 14 to 22 years to visit museums, theaters, concert halls, philharmonic halls, conservatories and other cultural institutions.

The University project, in coordination with the Ministry of Education of our Republic, will also allow foreign students to visit cultural and art institutions. It is based on a checklist of 12 most popular cultural institutions of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which can be visited on the Pushkin map from September to December 2022 as part of the city program "Cultural minimum of Ufa".

Since September 2022, 701 foreign students have visited such institutions as the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, the M. Karim National Youth Theater, the Bashkir State Art Museum, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic, Memorial House Museum of S.T. Aksakov, Museum of Polar Explorers named after V.I. Albanov, Bashkir State Philharmonic named after H. Akhmetov, Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after M. Gafuri, State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble named after F. Gaskarov

However, the university program for a month went beyond these 12 institutions and included trips to the Lemonary, Botanical Garden, Forest Museum, Albanov Museum. Also, during the implementation of the project, it was decided to supplement it with measures to prevent distortion of the contribution of the USSR (Russia) to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, for which it is planned to hold events and visit museums and exhibitions of patriotic orientation.

Dean's Office for Work with Foreign Students thanks the teachers of BSMU, especially the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication (Head of the Department L.A. Linnik), who supported the project and with their participation allowed it to be implemented on such a large scale.
