Anniversary gift - BSMU opens the Northern Campus

The renovated Northern Campus of the Medical University is being created on the basis of the buildings of the former vocational school No. 5, located at the address: Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa, Repin str., 6. The buildings include the central building built in 1953 and adjacent buildings built in 1976. The buildings were transferred from the ownership of the Republic of Bashkortostan to the federal ownership of BSMU. The reconstruction of the 4-storey academic building for a dormitory with a total area of 7819.05 m2 began in November 2021. Contractor - LLC Production and construction company "D-Art". The expected number of seats is 624 for double and triple occupancy in rooms. Each room is equipped with the necessary furniture, a sanitary unit with a toilet and a shower room. There is a reading room on each floor of the hostel, and a fitness room for residents will work in the basement of the hostel. This year, it is also planned to overhaul the building of Liter B. It is planned to place a branch of the BSMU Medical College for the training of nurses for medical institutions in the northern part of the city (hospitals No. 8, 13, 17, Republican Tuberculosis Dispensary). It is planned to produce up to 150 qualified nurses per year. Commissioning is expected by September 1, 2023.
