Congratulations of the Rector of Bashkir State Medical University V.N. Pavlov on the 90th anniversary of the University

Today we have a significant day – the 90th anniversary of our university!

Over the years, the university has passed a glorious path. We were founded in 1932, but our roots are in the XVIII and XIX centuries, when the process of forming scientific schools began. Within the walls of our university, the most famous people, professors, founders of new directions in Russian and Soviet medicine were educated.

The fate of the university is inextricably linked with the fate of Homeland. During the Great Patriotic War, we worked together with the evacuee in Ufa The first Moscow Medical Institute, now Sechenov University.

And today graduates and employees of the medical university fulfill their medical and patriotic duty in the new regions of the Russian Federation.

All these years we have been striving to be the best in the world. We have formed schools of fundamental medical science and clinical medicine, known not only in Russia but also abroad.

The unprecedented support of the leadership of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation allowed us to identify and successfully implement our own track and development strategy. The material and technical base of the university has been replenished in recent years with 3 modern dormitories, one of which is open today.

They returned to the university All-Russian Center of Eye and Plastic Surgery, Ufa Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases. A significant team of researchers, qualified doctors, world-renowned scientists and young researchers with a great future joined the university.

Our university is well visible in the world scientific and medical space today!

The training of highly qualified scientific personnel in PhD and postgraduate programs continues at the leading Russian and foreign universities of Dresden, Heidelberg, Vienna, Harbin and Sichuan University.

Fundamental science is developing. The Institute of Fundamental Medicine has already been built. Next year it will open its doors to university scientists. Today we have opened our own Institute of Urology and Clinical Oncology, signed an agreement on the entry of universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan into the Consortium of the Network University of Medical Technologies.

I am sure that all the tasks that he sets before us Homeland for the training of medical personnel and the development of science, we can do it.

Currently, we continue to build an international university with our own research agenda, we are a leader in the medical education market in India, Africa, the Middle East and Average The East.

The University is deeply integrated with the healthcare system of the republic. Qualified staff of teachers and scientists work at our clinical bases in almost all medical organizations of the city of Ufa and other territories of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Dear friends!

Today we pay tribute to our veterans who have made a huge contribution to the formation and development of the university. Many of them are in this hall now. I want to express my gratitude to you for your hard and fruitful work.

The main pride and hope of any university is students. Every year we increase admission to the university, not only from the regions of Russia, but also from foreign countries. The best graduates of schools become students of the university. Today, medical classes of educational institutions of Bashkortostan are with us in the hall!

More than 6.5 thousand students of the university have made an invaluable contribution to the fight against the new coronavirus infection. Many of them took part in the work of the volunteer center, the situational anti-ovoid Call center, outpatient polyclinic, infectious diseases hospitals of medical organizations of the republic, as anti-ovoid inspectors in schools.

The Medical University today is confidently keeping up with the times. Our future and the future of healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan are in safe hands!
