To the 90th anniversary of BSMU. A new Institute will appear at the University

Healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan is replenished with another facility. BSMU, celebrating its 90th anniversary, opens another Institute. The new institute is located in the Oktyabrsky district of the city, on Shafiev Street 2. It will provide a full range of medical services and outpatient care in urology and oncology. The Institute will carry out research and innovation activities in fundamental, translational and clinical medicine;

· development of scientific foundations for the organization and provision of personalized medical care, regenerative and preventive medicine;

· introduction of new medical and information technologies into the practice of the educational process and healthcare;

· training of qualified specialists and scientific, pedagogical and clinical specialists of the highest qualification on the basis of the latest achievements of scientific and technological progress.

The capacity of the building is about 3000 m2. The Institute has 3 floors, which house scientific laboratories, medical wards, and a lecture hall. The Institute consists of: • Laboratory of Molecular Genetics • Immunology Laboratory• Bioprinting Laboratory • Stem Cell Research Laboratory • Biobank • 2 departments of antitumor drug therapy (for 80 beds), • Day hospital (for 20 beds), • Training rooms Up to 100 students, 50 researchers, 100 patients can be in the training rooms at the same time. Construction work was carried out by LLC PSF "D-Art", which were completed in November 2022. The opening of the Institute will take place tomorrow, November 22, at 11.00 am
