The All-Russian Olympiad with international participation in pharmacy "PharmOlymp 2023" has ended

On February 22, 2023, the All-Russian Olympiad with International participation in Pharmacy "PharmOlymp 2023", organized by Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovskii, ended. The Olympiad was held in a remote format and had a large-scale character: 31 teams from 25 higher medical and pharmaceutical educational institutions, including from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, took part in it.

Bashkir State Medical University was represented by a team of "Pharmacists", consisting of 8 participants – students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who took part both in team competitions and in solving individual tasks in specific specialized disciplines:

3. Zimovets Alyona Igorevna (F-501A) – pharmaceutical chemistry

4. Karimova Elina Ruslanovna (F-201A) – pharmaceutical botany

5. Medko Anastasia Vladimirovna (F-501A) – Pharmacy Management and Economics

6. Mullagalyamova Adelina Ravilevna (F-301B) – organic chemistry

7. Romanova Sofia Eduardovna (F-401B) – pharmacognosy

8. Shaidullina Aigul Ramilevna (F-501A) – pharmaceutical technology

The Olympiad consisted of several stages. Initially, video presentations of the teams were presented to the jury. Also, the participants of the Olympiad for a limited period of time were required to demonstrate their knowledge in a blitz tournament in pharmacology, as well as answer difficult test tasks in various fields of pharmacy.

On the last day of the Olympiad, the participants' knowledge in individual disciplines was tested: it was necessary to solve several complex cases reflecting real situations in the practical work of a pharmacist.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the team of Bashkir State Medical University "Pharmacy" took the 2nd team place, sharing it with Kuban State Medical University and Lugansk State Medical University named after St. Luke. In addition, our team won two winning first places in the nominations "Organic Chemistry" and

"Management and Economics of pharmacy", and also took the prize-winning second place in the nomination "Pharmacognosy".
