WETLAB courses are held at the Research Institute of Eye Diseases

Training in WETLAB courses on cataract phacoemulsification is of constant interest for novice ophthalmic surgeons. Ophthalmologists from Morocco, Belarus ( Minsk), Uzbekistan (Tashkent), Kyrgyzstan ( Kochkor-Ata), Vologda, Saratov, Stavropol, Petrozavodsk, Omsk, Novoaltaysk. This course is conducted in a hybrid format: from March 6 to 10, lectures will be delivered online and in-person, from March 13 to 17, face-to-face practical classes are planned.

The training process on WETLAB includes:

- a course of lectures on advanced technologies of phacoemulsification, features of implantation of intraocular lenses, complications in FEC; - visiting the operating room and broadcasting "live surgery" online; - vetlab on cadaveric animal eyes using the latest surgical equipment Centurion, Infiniti (Alcon).
