Academic mobility of BSMU in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The expansion of the scope of scientific activities carried out abroad or jointly with foreign colleagues necessitates the expansion of relevant foreign contacts. Within the framework of cooperation of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation with Educational Organizations of Higher Professional Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during a business trip by assistants of the Department of Infectious Diseases, T.B. Rakhmonov, R.R. Tavabilov and N.A. Abrashina, an academic mobility program was implemented to exchange experience in teaching the discipline "Infectious diseases".

On April 4-5, 2023, a series of lectures (8 hours) and practical classes (8 hours) were given at the Urgechna branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the following topics: "Measles, rubella" (2 hours), "Chickenpox and other herpes viral infections" (2 hours), "Streptococcosis" (2 hours), "Meningococcal infection" (2 hours), "Differential diagnosis of exanthema syndrome" (4 hours), "Differential diagnosis of respiratory catarrhal syndrome" (4 hours), - for students of the 3-4-5 course of medical and pediatric faculties at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology.

Further, on April 6-7, 2023, on the basis of the Department of "Infectious Diseases, Children's Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology" of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 8 hours of the Program were held on the topics: "Measles, rubella" (2 hours), "Chickenpox and other herpes viral infections" (2 hours), "Differential diagnosis of exanthema syndrome" (4 hours).

And, on April 8, 2023, at the Tashkent Medical Academy, open lectures were given for master's degree students, clinical residents and students of the 302 group of the Faculty of Medicine and Biology of the Department of Infectious and Childhood Diseases on the following topics: "Early and differential diagnosis of diseases occurring with respiratory syndrome by R.R. Tavabilov, "Early and differential diagnosis of infectious and non-infectious diseases occurring with fever syndrome" by N.A. Abrashina, "Early and differential diagnosis of particularly dangerous infections" by T.B. Rakhmonov.

Thus, holding such events within the framework of the Academic Mobility Program can serve as an impetus for the further development of fruitful international cooperation between universities and the professional development of teaching staff.
