The delegation of BSMU visited the Lugansk People's Republic

From May 9 to May 13, 2023, a delegation of BSMU consisting of Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Ildar Lutfarakhmanov, Head of the Department of Internal Diseases Anton Tyurin, Dean for Work with Foreign Students Rasul Farshatov, Head of the International Department Ruslan Abdrakhimov, Head of the operating unit, urologist Anton Deneyko We visited Lugansk State Medical University named after St. Luke of the Ministry of Health of Russia (hereinafter referred to as LSMU) and other medical institutions of the LPR.

On May 10, 2023 at the site of the LSMU scientific and practical conference "Topical issues in oncourology. New technologies in oncourology with a workshop.

Also, within the framework of the conference, Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov delivered lectures for students and residents of LSMU, Professor Lutfrakhmanov Ildar and Associate Professor Tyurin Anton delivered lectures for doctors, students, residents in the sections "Anesthesiology and Resuscitation", "Internal diseases" and organized round tables with the youth scientific society.

In addition, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov held a surgical master class "Radical cystectomy with various urine derivation in patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer" for three patients at the Lugansk Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary of the LPR from May 10 to 11. The progress and comments of the operations of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov were monitored by urologists and oncologists of medical institutions of the LPR.

On May 11, the delegation of BSMU visited the Lugansk Republican Clinical Hospital, where a meeting was held with the chief physician Volman Oleg Valeryevich on cooperation in the organization of urological and oncological services of the LPR.

On May 12, the delegation of BSMU paid a working visit to Krasny Luch. Together with the rector of LSMU Alexander Torba met with doctors sent from the Republic of Bashkortostan. During the meeting, the issues of the application of new technologies in surgery were discussed, the use of which in practice will increase the level of medical care for residents of Krasny Luch.
At the end of the meeting, Rector Valentin Pavlov presented the standard of BSMU, and Acting Head of the Administration of the city of Krasny Luch Sergey Solovyov presented the rector with a cartouche of the city of Krasny Luch and a certificate for cooperation between medical workers of the city of Krasny Luch and the Republic of Bashkortostan

Also in the villages of Shterovka and Ivanovka LPR Rector Valentin Pavlov and members of the delegation laid flowers at the monument to the General of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, Hero of Russia Minigali Shaimuratov and the monument to 11 unknown soldiers of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, where they paid tribute to the exploits of fighters during the Great Patriotic War
